DescriptionThe Elastic Foot guides and stretches narrow elastic (6–12mm or ¼–½ inch) as you sew it onto fabric. It’s ideal for sewing activewear, lingerie and other elastic insertion techniques. How to Use: Set your overlocker to the desired stitch. Loosen the screw at the front of the Elastic Foot to release the tension on the roller. Insert the elastic into the foot. Attach the foot to the machine and pull the elastic so it extends behind the foot. Tighten the tension screw to apply stretch to the elastic. Turn the handwheel to sew a few stitches and secure the elastic in place. Place the fabric under the foot and sew the elastic and fabric together. Check the stitch and adjust the tension if required. Note: To adjust the stretch of the elastic: Turn the tension screw to the right for more stretch. Turn the screw to the left for less stretch. Take care not to stretch the fabric while sewing.
