However, we are at the mercy of Australia Post or the different couriers that we use after that. This can vary from a few days up to a week or so and obviously more during the festive season. They are hard as they are made from a firmer EVA that resists compression, so the heel lift actually does raise the heel. What shoes should these lifts be used in? They need to be used in shoes that have room in them. The 12mm raise probably can’t be used in shoes that are low cut around the heel area as the foot will just come out the top. If you are unsure, start with the 6mm list. I only have a problem on one side, should I wear just the one heel lift or both? If you have a diagnosed leg length difference, then it is okay to wear one. If you are going to be using these heel raises for a problem that is only on one side, use both. Using one is only going to create an asymmetry in the way you walk (unless you have a leg length difference). I was after more of a cushioning heel lift rather than these harder ones. What do you suggest? In this case with have the silicone gel cushioning heel pads and the Tuli’s heel pads. Can these be used to make you taller? Of course! These heel lift inserts can make you 6mm or 12mm taller (depending on which thickness you order). Just make sure that there is enough room in your shoes to accomodate the lift or your foot will just come out of the shoe when you are walking.
